Membership of SCOVI is open to any organisation, public body or individual that has an interest in the Scottish vision sector. A diverse range of voluntary organisations, local authorities and individuals all contribute to design, shape and direct SCOVI's activities, allowing SCOVI to provide a national voice for the Scottish vision sector.

SCOVI Members forum

SCOVI members across Scotland meet about 5 times a year to share knowledge and skills, generate ideas, discuss wider issues affecting the sector and people affected by sight loss and collaborate on consultations, events, campaigns, projects and research.

Representatives include paid staff, trustees or volunteers from SCOVI member organisations, drawn from local and national third sector organisations and statutory services within the field of visual impairment.

In addition to providing a space to support information-sharing, capacity-building and partnerships, the Membership Forum generates ideas and recommendations that inform the ongoing planning, delivery and evaluation of SCOVI's own activities, services and strategic priorities.
